Dry Run at King George's Avenue

^ Heading to the KGA senior's activity center together early morning :) | Stimulating logistics briefing for the actual event.

Scrubbing off fungus growth of the walls using bleach and hot water.

Getting to the nooks and crannies of the room!

Important steps before we start painting: 1. Laying newspapers and wrapping window grilles and furnitures with newspapers or plastic drop sheets. | 2. Scrapping peeling paints. | 3. Putting wall putty to smoothen the surfaces and fill any holes!

And of course, in the midst of us painting, we also interacted with our beneficiaries. :) So that our help goes beyond just helping them beautify their homes but also showing them our care and concern too!

When day soon becomes night... But we are almost done! With a bit of touching up here and there.

Though it was a long day, we were glad we were able to finish painting and ended the day with a warm smile in our hearts. <3

This dry run has also gave us the confidence to lead the rest of the volunteers durin the actual event.

And we cannot wait to meet you all soon!!
